The Donor

Marin here again. I get a lot of people asking about the donor. Here's the scoop:

It is the family of the donors right to anonymity. We know NOTHING about him or her. Once Jerid is ready, he can write a letter to the donor's family thanking them and asking for contact. This letter goes to the Gift of Life where it is forwarded on to the family. They then decide whether or not to share information with Jerid.

Yes, it's kind of crappy that we may never know, but they have already given Jerid the most precious gift. We really don't deserve to ask them of anything else. Hopefully though, they will return contact. Only time will tell...

Meanwhile, please pray for the family that is grieving the loss of a loved one. We owe them everything and hope that they are finding peace right now.
