Exhibit A

As of last night, Marin told Lara that Jerid was doing well breathing and resting. He is extremely popular and has many medical visitors as he is only the 13th (lucky 13) liver and lung transplantee in the US. He is affectionately known as "Exhibit A" among the staff.

Just spoke with Marin (actually woke her up at 9:15 am). She said that while he is doing great, he is extremely thirsty. They do not want him to drink a lot of liquids as they want his lungs to stay dry for healing. So he is allowed very small quantities of fluids and after his AJ last night, he commented that Apple Juice never tasted so good!

Jerid's hands and feet are swollen right now so even though he is not allowed food and has limited amounts of liquids, I guess he looks like he has gained a little weight. I'm not sure I can even picture Jerid with a little weight on.
